The story
Terra Firma Gathering is a festival held in Far North Queensland, Australia from October 2 to October 5, 2026. The festival focuses on the relationship between land, identity, and creative expression, encouraging attendees to experience music in a natural setting that honors the cultural significance of the location. It celebrates both the literal earth and the cultural foundations that connect people to place, aiming to create a sense of community and connection.
Terra Firma Gathering is a 4-day multi-genre festival at Unknown in Australia, Australia. The October 2026 edition runs 2–5 Oct 2026.
Everything happens at Unknown, in Australia. Queensland · 0 km · about 0 min is the organiser's practical nearby base for accommodation and transfers to the festival site.
Terra Firma Gathering keeps the same calendar slot each year: October 2026 for this edition, opening on a Friday and closing on a Monday. It falls in autumn, after the summer circuit closes, when flights and rooms come back down in price. That slot matters for the budget — flights and rooms in Australia are priced for the festival weekend, not the week around it, so shifting your arrival by a day often saves more than any ticket tier does.

- 1Book the ticket first: tiers at Terra Firma Gathering are sold in waves and the cheapest wave is gone long before the line-up is complete.
- 2Then price the travel from Paris — Cinderella compares train, bus, car and flight for the same dates, and the cheapest option is not always the obvious one.
- 3Reserve 5 nights rather than 4: the last night of a festival almost always ends after the last train home.
- 4Follow Terra Firma Gathering on Cinderella to be emailed when a ticket price drops or a new tier opens.
