The story
Parco Dora's disused steelworks makes the most photogenic techno festival in Europe — brutalist canopies, blazing sun and a flawless booking policy.
Kappa FuturFestival is a 3-day techno, house festival at Turin, Italy. The July 2027 edition runs 3–5 Jul 2027. It draws around 100,000 people.
Announced so far: Charlotte de Witte, Peggy Gou, Ricardo Villalobos and Solomun. Expect stages split between Techno and House. The line-up is spread across the 3 festival days, so a full-weekend ticket is the only way to catch every name.
With room for about 100,000 people, Kappa FuturFestival is one of the largest events in our index: expect long entry queues, several main-stage sets running at once and a site you cannot cross in five minutes. Turin is the base for the trip: it is where the affordable beds, the late trains and the after-parties are, and where prices climb fastest as the dates approach.
Kappa FuturFestival keeps the same calendar slot each year: July 2027 for this edition, opening on a Saturday and closing on a Monday. It is a high-summer date, which is peak season for both travel and accommodation across the region. That slot matters for the budget — flights and rooms in Turin are priced for the festival weekend, not the week around it, so shifting your arrival by a day often saves more than any ticket tier does.

- 1Book the ticket first: tiers at Kappa FuturFestival are sold in waves and the cheapest wave is gone long before the line-up is complete.
- 2Then price the travel from Paris — Cinderella compares train, bus, car and flight for the same dates, and the cheapest option is not always the obvious one.
- 3Reserve 4 nights rather than 3: the last night of a festival almost always ends after the last train home.
- 4If you fly into TRN, check the transfer time to Turin before booking the earliest departure — the airport bus is usually the cheapest leg of the whole trip.
- 5Follow Kappa FuturFestival on Cinderella to be emailed when a ticket price drops or a new tier opens.

Travel tips from Paris
- Fly into TRN, the closest airport to the site.
- Rail arrivals come through Torino Porta Nuova; shuttles usually run from there.
- Book a bed in Turin early — rooms around a festival sell out before the last ticket tier does.
