The story
Iceland Eclipse is a four-day transformational gathering taking place from 12-15 August 2026, during Iceland’s once-in-a-century total solar eclipse. The event combines music, art, science, wellness, and exploration of Iceland's unique landscapes. It aims to provide a space for participants to connect with nature and each other.
Iceland Eclipse is a tech house, downtempo festival at Hellissandur, Iceland in Hellissandur, Iceland. The August 2027 edition runs 12–12 Aug 2027. It draws around 812 people.
Announced so far: Meduza, Agzilla, Ali Love, Ash Lauryn, berlioz, BigRedMachine, Captain Hook and Carbon Based Lifeforms and 21 more. Expect stages split between Tech House and Downtempo.
At around 812 attendees it stays on the intimate side, which usually means shorter bar queues and a crowd that is there for the music rather than the spectacle. Everything happens at Hellissandur, Iceland, in Hellissandur. Hellissandur is the base for the trip: it is where the affordable beds, the late trains and the after-parties are, and where prices climb fastest as the dates approach.
Iceland Eclipse keeps the same calendar slot each year: August 2027 for this edition, opening on a Thursday and closing on a Thursday. It is a high-summer date, which is peak season for both travel and accommodation across the region. That slot matters for the budget — flights and rooms in Hellissandur are priced for the festival weekend, not the week around it, so shifting your arrival by a day often saves more than any ticket tier does.

- 1Book the ticket first: tiers at Iceland Eclipse are sold in waves and the cheapest wave is gone long before the line-up is complete.
- 2Then price the travel from Paris — Cinderella compares train, bus, car and flight for the same dates, and the cheapest option is not always the obvious one.
- 3Reserve 2 nights rather than 1: the last night of a festival almost always ends after the last train home.
- 4If you fly into Not specified, check the transfer time to Hellissandur before booking the earliest departure — the airport bus is usually the cheapest leg of the whole trip.
- 5Follow Iceland Eclipse on Cinderella to be emailed when a ticket price drops or a new tier opens.
