The story
Comuna Festival 2026 takes place on November 28, 2026, at Foro Cholula in Cholula, Puebla. The festival showcases a variety of music and features a lineup of notable Latin music artists. It is designed as a one-day event and does not offer camping facilities. The festival has a family-friendly environment with an age minimum of 3 years.
Comuna Festival is a 3-day electronic, hip-hop festival at Bosque de Tlalpan in Mexico City, Mexico. The September 2026 edition runs 30 Sept – 2 Oct 2026.
Announced so far: Babasónicos, Big Sempa, Brussels, Caifanes, Caloncho, Camilo Séptimo, Cuarteto de Nos and DLD and 21 more. Expect stages split between Electronic and Hip-Hop. The line-up is spread across the 3 festival days, so a full-weekend ticket is the only way to catch every name.
Everything happens at Bosque de Tlalpan, in Mexico City. Mexico City is the base for the trip: it is where the affordable beds, the late trains and the after-parties are, and where prices climb fastest as the dates approach.
Comuna Festival keeps the same calendar slot each year: September 2026 for this edition, opening on a Wednesday and closing on a Friday. It falls in autumn, after the summer circuit closes, when flights and rooms come back down in price. That slot matters for the budget — flights and rooms in Mexico City are priced for the festival weekend, not the week around it, so shifting your arrival by a day often saves more than any ticket tier does.

- 1Book the ticket first: tiers at Comuna Festival are sold in waves and the cheapest wave is gone long before the line-up is complete.
- 2Then price the travel from Paris — Cinderella compares train, bus, car and flight for the same dates, and the cheapest option is not always the obvious one.
- 3Reserve 4 nights rather than 3: the last night of a festival almost always ends after the last train home.
- 4Follow Comuna Festival on Cinderella to be emailed when a ticket price drops or a new tier opens.
