The story

Big Fam Festival is a weekend-long camping, music, and arts festival held at The Groves of Michigan in Brooklyn, MI. It takes place from September 25-27, 2026, surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. This festival is designed for all ages and aims to create a communal atmosphere among festival goers, fostering a sense of belonging and community.

Big Fam Festival is a 3-day electronic, jam festival at Toronto Island in Toronto, Canada. The December 2026 edition runs 2–4 Dec 2026.

Expect stages split between Electronic and Jam.

Everything happens at Toronto Island, in Toronto. Brooklyn, MI · 0 km · about 0 min is the organiser's practical nearby base for accommodation and transfers to the festival site. Camping is available at the festival, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the festival experience.

Big Fam Festival keeps the same calendar slot each year: December 2026 for this edition, opening on a Wednesday and closing on a Friday. It is a winter date, so indoor stages and a warm place to sleep matter more than they would in July — and off-season travel is often cheaper. That slot matters for the budget — flights and rooms in Toronto are priced for the festival weekend, not the week around it, so shifting your arrival by a day often saves more than any ticket tier does.

What the trip costs from Paris

Door to door from Paris, a trip to Big Fam Festival works out at roughly €1,414 per person on the cheapest combination we track — a higher-budget weekend, mostly because of the travel leg.

The ticket is only 2% of that: the rest is getting there and sleeping somewhere, which is exactly the part most ticket sites leave out.

Cheapest travel we price is air · 11h 50m each way, at €760 return.

Planning the trip, step by step

1. 1Book the ticket first: tiers at Big Fam Festival are sold in waves and the cheapest wave is gone long before the line-up is complete.
2. 2Then price the travel from Paris — Cinderella compares train, bus, car and flight for the same dates, and the cheapest option is not always the obvious one.
3. 3Reserve 4 nights rather than 3: the last night of a festival almost always ends after the last train home.
4. 4Follow Big Fam Festival on Cinderella to be emailed when a ticket price drops or a new tier opens.
